Before we begin

What you may want to know.

How is retained search different from recruitment?

Retained search is a dedicated, research-led mandate. It maps the market, approaches leaders directly and assesses candidates against an agreed scorecard.

Who pays for the search?

The appointing organisation pays Hennessey. Candidates are never charged a fee.

Where do you operate?

Hennessey is based in the UK and supports appointments across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific through its network.

How do candidates introduce themselves?

Email a concise career summary or CV with the role types, situations and geographies you would consider.

How is confidentiality protected?

Information is shared on a need-to-know basis. Communication and disclosure requirements are agreed at the start of each search.

Do you advertise every opportunity?

No. Some mandates remain confidential, so candidates are welcome to build a relationship before a suitable role appears.
